Okay, let me see if I got this straight. Although I have this release on
CD, I believe it's actually being released as a seven inch. That's a record
and/or vinyl for those of you who might need a clue. Anyway, there's only two
tracks on this release. There's a video on here as well. But, I didn't check
it out because I hardly ever use my CD-Rom drive. So, I can't comment on that.
I will, however, roll through the rest of the tracks. What the hell...there's
only two of 'em. Track one, "Southbound," is an instant classic. It's one of
those heavy rockin' tunes that, even if you've never heard it before, you can
start jammin' to it within the first few seconds and when it's all said and
done, you wanna hear it again. It's an awesome song that should get this band
some pretty decent reviews. Anyone who doesn't like this song should be shot.
Track two, "Supernature," powers forward kind of like a Black Sabbath tune.
It's a good song. But, it's not the best of the two, that's for sure. I like
the first one a lot better.
So, what do I think of the band after this ten minute listening experience?
Not bad. They have my attention. I'd be interested to see what they could come
up with on a full length release. Hopefully, they'd do their thing more in the
direction of "Southbound." That would be great. I have no idea what the asking
price for this release is, but, I would suggest checking it out. I'm sure
it'll float your boat.
